Family-centered UW Medicine healthcare for Kent/Des Moines residents
Conveniently located on Pacific Highway South and not far from I-5, the UW Neighborhood Kent/Des Moines Clinic offers primary care appointments six days a week, including evenings and same-day appointments. Additionally, medical advice is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Use eCare to message your care team any time, or call your clinic during business hours and you'll receive a call back within a day. When the clinic is closed, you'll reach an after-hours consulting nurse service.
Board-certified providers offer a complete spectrum of primary care services including family medicine with obstetrics, pediatrics, internal medicine, behavioral health and nutrition services. For your convenience, an on-site lab and digital X-ray facilities are available to you.
The UW Neighborhood Kent/Des Moines Clinic is also a training site for the UW Pediatric Residency Training program from Seattle Children’s, creating a community-based training site for pediatric resident physicians.

UW Neighborhood Clinics are committed to providing care in the safest environment possible. We demonstrate our commitment by washing our hands before examinations, asking you to confirm your identity by verifying your name and date of birth at key times and asking you to confirm the medications and allergies listed in your medical record to avoid errors, allergic reactions and drug interactions.
Our clinics do not provide supervision for children, but we are concerned for their safety during your visit. You or a responsible person must directly supervise children at all times while in the building. Please do not allow children to play near equipment, as they could injure themselves or damage the equipment.
From Interstate 5:
- Exit at State Route 516 (South Kent-Des Moines Road). If traveling southbound, take exit 149, and turn right at the end of the off-ramp. If northbound, take exit 149B.
- Follow Kent-Des Moines Road to Pacific Highway South, and turn left at that intersection.
- Make a sharp right into the parking lot.
- Continue through the lot, generally bearing right. The clinic is on your right.
