Jennifer Azen, M.D., is a board certified physician at the UW Neighborhood Kent/Des Moines Clinic and a UW assistant professor of General Internal Medicine.

Dr. Azen believes in a patient-physician partnership. She enjoys working with patients to improve quality of life and longevity. She also believes that communicating the importance of risk factor modification and prevention is often the most important contribution she makes in the partnership. She truly enjoys being the patient's primary physician and working with specialists, as needed, to coordinate the best care for her patients.

Dr. Azen earned her M.D. at the University of Texas in Galveston. Her clinical interests include the full spectrum of internal medicine.

Personal Interests

Dr. Azen grew up near a small town in central Texas where her family runs a steakhouse. Her father took me on a trip to the Pacific Northwest when sge was 17 and she fell in love with the area. Her husband, son, and Dr. Azen enjoy everything the Northwest has to offer. In her spare time, she really enjoys running and watching college and NFL football each fall.
