About Thomas Courtney
Thomas Courtney, MD, considers it an honor and a privilege to care for the most precious thing to any parent, their children. Dr. Courtney likes to view pediatrics as not only being about the child who is his patient, but his whole family and extended friends and family who care for and love the child and support them as they navigate the increasingly difficult process of growing up and achieving their potential to the fullest. He feels it's important to have a holistic approach appreciating the culture and values of the family and working with them to bring the best evidence-based medical care possible for the child. He wakes up every morning thrilled to be able to do what he does as a pediatrician.
Dr. Courtney's clinical interests include technology applied to medicine, sports medicine, childhood obesity, children with complex medical needs, immigrant and refugee medical needs, diet and nutrition.
Note: The provider currently sees patients 18 and younger.
Personal Interests
In his free time, Dr. Courtney enjoys rowing, skiing, triathlons, hiking, biking, swimming, board games, and photography.
