About Shaila Adele Bonanno
Shaila Bonanno, MD, is pediatrics resident. She was raised in Davis near Sacramento, went to undergrad in San Diego and then returned to UC Davis for medical school. Prior to entering medicine, Dr. Bonanno spent two years teaching with AmeriCorps, one year each in Sacramento and San Francisco. During her time in the classroom, she grew to love working with adolescents and got interested in Adverse Childhood Experiences with hopes of pursuing a career in general pediatrics.
Personal Interests
In her free time, Dr. Bonanno loves to be outside as much as possible whether that's hiking, running, or biking. She also love to bake/cook, and, most importantly, pet any dogs that will let her.
