Dr. Recek grew up in Plainfield, Illinois, and studied Physiology and Psychology at Oklahoma State University. She returned to Illinois to research adolescent sleep disorders at Rush University Medical Center and stayed in Chicago for medical school at Rosalind Franklin University. Dr. Recek is thrilled to now pursue pediatrics and child neurology training at Seattle Children’s Hospital and serve her patients and their families at UWMC. She has always felt a pull to the northwest and is so excited to have the opportunity to hike, hammock, and explore farmer’s markets with her dog, Maggie.
