About Robb W. Glenny
Robb Glenny, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Chest Clinic at Harborview, head of UW Medicine Pulmonary and Critical Care, a UW endowed chair of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and Pulmonary Disease Research and a UW professor of Medicine, Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine and Physiology and Biophysics.
Dr. Glenny is using fractals to develop new models of the pulmonary system. He cares for patients with lung diseases and critically ill patients. He strives to educate patients so that they can be knowledgeable partners.
Dr. Glenny earned his M.D. at the University of Virginia. He is triple board certified in Critical Care Medicine, Pulmonary Disease and Internal Medicine. He also studies how the lung can be injured in
critically ill patients. He enjoys teaching across the entire spectrum of learners.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Glenny has been an avid soccer coach and player and has a growing interest in cycling and hiking. He also enjoys house construction and teaching science in elementary school.
