About Mengru Wang

Mengru Wang, MD MPH, is a board-certified internist and geriatrician. She specializes in the care of older adults in a variety of settings from primary care and inpatient consultative medicine at Harborview Medical Center, to post acute and long term care at nursing facilities within the UW Medicine. 

Dr. Wang values shared decision making and finds fulfillment in helping patients and their families navigate difficult health care decisions. Dr. Wang's clinical interests include working with underserved populations and older adults with multiple chronic medical conditions.

Dr. Wang is a Clinical Instructor in the Division of Geriatrics at UW School of Medicine.

Personal Interests

In her free time, Dr. Wang enjoys hiking, reading and watching crime mysteries, and spending time with her family and chocolate lab.
