So sad to see Doctor Leah Karlsen leaving. Truly one of the best doctors I've ever had. She is and empathetic listener, I trust her with my complicated health, she investigates and gets to the root of the health concern. She will be greatly missed.

About Leah Karlsen
Leah Karlsen, MD, is an internal medicine resident. Dr. Karlsen believes in a patient-centered approach to care, using open communication to find tailored plans for each patient and their individual goals. She values education and sees it as a tool to further her own lifelong learning, but also as a way to involve her patients in medical decisions by sharing why and how these options are being presented.
Dr. Karlsen's clinical interests include primary care; women's health; medical education; family planning and contraceptive counseling; autoimmune diseases; and evidence-based cancer screening
Personal Interests
Dr. Karlsen enjoys spending time outdoors and you may run into her snapping a picture of her favorite hiking sandwich at the top of a local PNW peak. She also enjoys cooking, trying to perfect macarons, and skiing.
