About Joe C. Huang

Joe Huang, M.D., is a physician at the Senior Care Clinic at Harborview Medical Center and a UW instructor of Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine.

At the Senior Care Clinic, Dr. Huang provides comprehensive evaluation and care for older adults. As a geriatrician, his goal is to maximize the health and quality of life for older adults, in particular those challenged with multiple chronic medical conditions. He works with therapists, social workers and psychiatrists to address the physical, occupational and psychological health of patients along with their medical needs.

Dr. Huang earned his M.D. at the University of Vermont. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Gerontology and Geriatric Medicine. His clinical and research interests include geriatric oncology, research in aging and cancer and blood cancers in older adults.

In his free time Dr. Huang enjoys outdoor activities.
