About Joanna Mary Davies
Joanna Marie Davies, M.D., is a UW associate professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Davies is particularly interested in providing anesthesia to patients in developing countries who have minimal or no access to medical care. She aims to deliver all aspects of the practice of good and safe anesthesia. Dr.
Davies earned her M.D. at the University of London. Her clinical and research interests include obstetric and regional anesthesia, airway management training for anesthesiologists and other specialists and obstetric anesthesia teaching in developing countries.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Davies enjoys hiking, cycling, skiing, traveling, music and photography.
