About Jacob S. Berman
Jacob (Jake) Berman, M.D., M.P.H. is a board certified internal medicine faculty physician at the General Internal Medicine Center at UWMC-Roosevelt and a UW clinical associate professor of General Internal Medicine.
Dr. Berman feels it is a privilege to care for patients as a physician. He strives to empathize with patients, to listen and observe and understand their health from their perspective, bringing to bear medical knowledge and clinical judgment in ways that are actionable and empowering for patients.
Dr. Berman earned his M.D. and M.P.H from Tufts University. He is a member of the Society of General Internal Medicine, serving on their health policy committee, and a member of the American College of Physicians. His clinical and research interests include population health management, high-value care, quality improvement, health systems innovation and scholarly review and analysis of health policy.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Berman enjoys hiking, kayaking, movies, music, health insurance and, most of all, time with his family and friends.
