Eric Burlingame, MD, FAAP, is a board-certified general pediatrician seeing patients from birth to 21 years old and a resident continuity clinic preceptor.
Dr. Burlingame enjoys all aspects of caring for children from birth through young adulthood and values families from diverse backgrounds. He has clinical interests in nutrition, emotional and behavioral health (ADHD, depression, anxiety/OCD, Autism Spectrum Disorder), and care for children with medical complexity.
Dr. Burlingame strives to partner with patients and caregivers to create respectful and trusting relationships through time. He builds on the strengths of each child and family to optimize health at every stage of development.
Dr. Burlingame was a US Peace Corps Volunteer in Mauritania, West Africa and afterwards attended Temple University School of Medicine on a National Health Service Corps (NHSC) Scholarship. After residency at St Christopher’s Hospital in North Philadelphia, he spent 3 years at a NHSC service site in Toppenish, WA at the Yakima Valley Farm Workers Clinic before spending time in private practice in Seattle.
He is a Clinical Associate Professor in the Department of Pediatrics at UW School of Medicine.
Dr. Burlingame enjoys family time with his spouse, two daughters, and son. He loves running at Green Lake or on the Burke-Gilman (typically with a jogging stroller and/or his labradoodle), a good hole-in-the wall restaurant 'find', a binge-worthy TV series and ripe PNW berries. He also enjoys swimming, gardening, farmer's markets, cooking, and getting outdoors generally.
