1.2 E26 TRUST Scholar Compliance
Overview
University of Washington School of Medicine (UWSOM) TRUST Scholar Compliance Requirements must be completed by Wednesday, April 15, 2026. If extenuating circumstances apply and you are unable to complete the online requirements by April 15th, please contact lbellis@uw.edu. Deadline extensions will not be considered unless sufficient notice is given, and extenuating circumstances apply. If you need to request a medical or religious exemption (or accommodation) for any UWSOM compliance requirement, you must make the formal request in advance, and we recommend doing so at least 4-6 weeks in advance of the deadline. Students with a disability or chronic illness that may impact their ability to meet any compliance requirement must contact the Disability Resources for Students office as soon as possible to request accommodations.
TRUST scholars will be required to have a compliant status before they may participate in their TRUST First Summer Experience (FSE).
A note on Compliance while at UWSOM: If compliance deadlines are missed, there are consequences. For example, if you miss the April 15th, 2026 compliance deadline, the dean will be notified and your TRUST FSE may be rescheduled or canceled. Students who are non-compliant by the start of classes will be referred to the dean and removed from clinical training.
In preparation for your TRUST First Summer Experience, there are a number of administrative tasks you'll need to take care of. Compliance is monitored primarily through web-based tracking platforms and can be grouped into two categories:
- Immunization Compliance – monitored by the Health Sciences Immunizations Program (HSIP) via MedProctor
- General Compliance – monitored by the UWSOM via various online platforms
