Background and instructions
This training is an annual requirement for all medical students.
MS1 students and MS2 students:
A UW NetID is required to complete this online training. We will send you a link to the training in an email.
You will need to complete three training modules, three quizzes and one attestation in order to receive credit for your Infection Control training.
- Infection Control Overview (20 mins)
- Bloodborne Pathogens (20 mins)
- Respiratory Protection (10 mins)
You need a score of 80% or higher to successfully pass each quiz. If you don’t receive a passing score, you may retake the test until you do pass.
The results of your quizzes will come directly to this office.
MS3 and MS4 students:
You will need to complete the two annual refresher training modules, two quizzes and one attestion in order to receive credit for your Infection Control training. We will send you a link to the training in an email in June. The completion deadline will be in August.
- Bloodborne Pathogens (10 mins)
- Respiratory Protection (10 mins)
