Tyler Mortensen, DNP, is a teaching associate in the abdominal imaging section in the Department of Radiology at the University of Washington. Tyler graduated from the University of Washington with a BS in Biology. He graduated with a Doctorate in Nursing Practice from Seattle University. He received his certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner from the American Association of Nurse Practitioners. He focused on gerontology for several years before joining the radiology faculty at the University of Washington. Tyler believes in a patient-centered approach.
