About Tara Brinck Reid

Tara Reid, MD/PhD, is a board-certified infectious diseases specialist who further specializes in HIV care and prevention and STIs. Dr. Reid aims to optimize patient care by partnering with patients to make informed decisions to help them maximize their health. Dr. Reid's clinical expertise includes the prevention and management of STIs, including advanced HIV care and primary care. Her research expertise includes the diagnosis, management and prevention of syphilis, including human immunology and bacterial pathogenesis. Dr. Reid gardens and reads science fiction novels in her free time.
