About Suzanne Marie Inchauste
Suzanne Inchauste, MD, is a board-eligible plastic surgeon and assistant professor at the UW School of Medicine in the Division of Plastic Surgery. Dr. Inchauste believes in a team approach that starts with educating the patient and their family of the options. Her clear communication style with patients and their care team help facilitate the best care. Her goal is to help patients restore their form and function so they are can return to their lives.
Dr. Inchauste specializes in reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery with fellowship training in reconstructive microsurgery. She specializes in complex oncologic reconstruction for breast, sarcoma, urogynecologic, and skin cancer such as melanoma, basal cell and squamous cell cancers. She offers a wide variety of breast reconstruction options including implant-based and autologous flap reconstruction (DIEP, TUG, PAP, SGAP, etc.). She also performs lymphedema microsurgery.
Additionally, she performs abdominal wall reconstruction, body contouring, and breast aesthetic surgery. Her research interest involves clinical outcomes focused on breast reconstruction, lymphedema, and quality improvement. She has an interest in global surgery care and education. She loves teaching medical students and residents.
Personal Interests
Dr. Inchauste enjoys running, hiking, biking, yoga, and kayaking. She loves to travel, exploring new cultures and cuisines. She is an avid cook and loves exploring farmers markets for seasonal local produce to use in new recipes.
