Shin Lin, M.D., Ph.D., is a board-certified heart failure and transplant cardiologist at UW Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Cardiology.

Dr. Lin believes in creating active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.

Dr. Lin earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at Johns Hopkins School of Medicine. He is board-certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology. Dr. Lin’s clinical research interests include heart failure therapies, endomyocardial biopsy procedure, heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation. His research interests include epigenomics and genetics of heart failure.
