Biography

Samuel Browd, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified neurosurgeon at Seattle Children's Hospital, Harborview and UW Medical Center and a UW professor of Neurological Surgery and an adjunct professor of Medical Bioengineering.

Dr. Browd specializes in providing care to children who have hydrocephalus, brain and spinal cord tumors, pediatric cervical spine, spina bifida, Chiari malformations and spasticity.

Dr. Browd earned his M.D. and Ph.D. at the University of Florida, Gainesville. His research interests include complex, high resolution medical imaging, such as functional neuroimaging, clinical trials and patient outcome, craniopagus twins and cervical spine issues related to Down syndrome.
