About Ramesh Rengan
Ramesh Rengan, MD, PhD, FASTRO, is a Professor and Chair in the Department of Radiation Oncology at the University of Washington. Dr. Rengan specializes in the treatment of thoracic malignancies, ocular tumors, renal cell carcinoma, and prostate cancer.
Dr. Rengan is internationally known for his work in treating patients with lung cancer, esophageal cancer, thoracic malignancies and melanoma. His philosophy is simple—patients come first. That can only come from spending time and truly listening to the patient. In order to be successful in caring for the patient, a partnership must be forged between the oncologist and patient with each contributing to the development of a treatment plan that speaks to all of the needs of the patient.
Dr. Rengan earned his MD and PhD at the University of Michigan. He also specializes in genitourinary tumors including prostate cancer.
