While my surgeon was excellent and I would recommend him to others and will continue to go to him for surgical needs, it has been a bit disconcerting not to have had an in person visit with him before or following my surgery. I have no doubt he is/was the best surgeon for my needs but I would appreciate knowing what his role has been in my care once the surgery was over and to have had more than the one televisit prior to making my decision to go to him for my medical care.

I feel that once the surgery is over, there isn't any support for someone who has this type of surgery. I feel I have been left to my own devices.
