Michael Richard Sayre, M.D., is medical director for Seattle Medic One, a physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW professor of Emergency Medicine.

Dr. Sayre enjoys caring for patients from a wide variety of backgrounds regardless of their ability to pay. In addition to practicing emergency medicine at Harborview Medical Center, Dr. Sayre strives to ensure that emergency medical services in Seattle and King County continue to excel.

Dr. Sayre earned his M.D. from the University of Cincinnati. He came to the UW in 2012 to create the Emergency Medical Services Fellowship training program. He is a fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians and the American Heart Association. He is a past chair for the AHA Emergency Cardiovascular Care Committee.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Sayre enjoys running, gardening and travel.
