Michael Linenberger, M.D., is a board certified hematologist and SCCA and the UW’s Robert & Phyllis Henigson Professor of Hematology and Medicine. He is also medical director of Apheresis and Cellular Therapy at SCCA and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.

Dr. Linenberger prioritizes developing a close working relationship with patients, their significant others and caregivers.

Dr. Linenberger earned his M.D. at the University of Kansas. As director of the UW Hematology-Oncology fellowship program he spends a significant time working on fellow education and career development. Dr. Linenberger sits on numerous committees for national societies and organizations, including the American Society of Hematology, AABB (formerly American Association of Blood Banks) and the American Society for Apheresis. He is a fellow of the American Board of Internal Medicine.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Linenberger enjoys bicycling, sea kayaking and traveling.
