Michael Krug, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Boise VA Medical Center and an associate program director of the UW Boise Internal Medicine Residency Program.

The physician-patient relationship is based on a two-way flow of information. Dr. Krug believes that getting to know patients is crucial to coming up with the best treatment plan for each unique person. He also believes in involving patients in all aspects of their care.

Dr. Krug earned his M.D. from the University of Michigan. He is co-chair of the 2016 Washington ACP annual meeting, and is the past-president of the Northwest chapter of the Society for General Internal Medicine. His clinical and research interests include medical education, residency training, quality improvement and reducing readmissions.

Personal Interests

In his free time Dr. Krug enjoys working out, watching sports and spending time with his family.
