Megha Shankar, M.D. is an internal medicine resident physician at the University of Washington.
Dr. Shankar earned her M.D. from the University of Illinois at Chicago. She completed her undergraduate degree in anthropology and biology at the University of Chicago. Her clinical interests include all aspects of women's health including reproductive health, contraception, medical problems during pregnancy, breast disease and mental health.
Dr. Shankar's model of patient care is built on a foundation of patient-centered care and holistic wellness. She values listening to her patients as the key to every visit, along with ensuring that patients understand their options for their health care. She believes in using evidence-based medicine and medical advancements to improve patients' health and well-being.
