About Matthew J. Kogut
Matthew Kogut, M.D., is a board certified physician in the Radiology Departments at VA Puget Sound, Harborview and UW Medical Center. He is also director of the UW’s Vascular Interventional Radiology Fellowship and a UW assistant professor of Radiology.
Dr. Kogut feels It is a pleasure to provide care to our nation's veterans. While he enjoys the technical aspects of the procedures we provide, the interaction with the patients and their families is more rewarding.
Dr. Kogut earned his M.D. from Ohio State. His clinical and research interests include peripheral vascular disease, thrombolysis (breaking apart clots), wound salvage, venous stasis, minimally invasive treatment of liver and kidney tumors, stents and liver cancer.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Kogut enjoys hiking, camping, traveling, snowboarding and animals.
