Biography

Mark Wener, M.D., is a board certified physician at UW Medical Center's Roosevelt Rheumatology Clinic, co-director of UW Medicine's Scleroderma Clinic, and director of Immunology and the labs at UW Medical Center and Northwest Hospital. He is also a UW professor of Laboratory Medicine and Laboratory Administration and an adjunct professor of Medicine and Rheumatology. He is regularly listed as one of the Best Doctors in America.

Dr. Wener enjoys meeting patients and learning their personal stories, and coming up with a plan to help them. He likes to use lab tests in the best way possible, and tries to explain why a test may be helpful.

Dr. Wener earned his M.D. from Washington University in St. Louis. He has authored or co-authored over 100 papers. His clinical and research interests include autoimmune rheumatic diseases with complex and unusual manifestations.
