About Laura R. Quinnan-Hostein
Laura Quinnan, M.D., is board-certified in Internal Medicine and a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. She has worked as a hospitalist at UW Medical Center – Northwest since graduating from Internal Medicine Residency at the University of Washington in 2008. She has previously served as the Northwest Hospital Chief of Medicine, Medical Director of the Hospitalist Team, UWMC-NW Associate Medical Director and Associate Chief of Medicine. She currently serves as the Medical Director of UW Medical Center-Northwest and the Associate Medical Director of UW Medical Center.
Dr Quinnan believes that strong collaboration across disciplines and amongst providers is critical to achieving optimal outcomes. She believes that all patients should have equal opportunities to achieve positive health outcomes, and that open communication with patients and their families is crucial to helping patients accomplish their health goals.
Dr. Quinnan has a strong interest in quality improvement and patient safety. She co-chairs the NW Sepsis and MERC committees and leads numerous QI projects related to capacity management, patient throughput, and SUD.
Personal Interests
In her free time Dr. Quinnan enjoys gardening, cooking and spending time with family.
