About Kasra Rezaei
Kasra Rezaei, MD, is a board certified physician at the Eye Institute at Harborview and at the Karalis Johnson Retina Center, South Lake Union. He is a professor of Ophthalmology at the University of Washington.
Dr. Rezaei feels it is a great honor to participate in the care of patients and improve their vision and quality of life. Dr. Rezaei earned his MD at Islamic Azad University in Iran. He is board certified by the American Board of Ohtalmology. His research includes the development of new generation of optical coherence tomography in diagnosis of diabetic retinopathy, age related macular degeneration and vein occlusion. He has published in peer reviewed journals and presented at national meetings.
Personal Interests
In addition to his interest in taking care of patients and medical research, Dr. Rezaei is an avid athlete and has finished multiple marathons in the past few years.
