Kari Keys, M.D., is a board certified plastic surgeon at Harborview and the VA Hospital and a UW assistant professor of Plastic Surgery in the division of plastic surgery.
Dr. Keys collaborates with surgeons from Urology, Orthopedics, Burn Surgery, Neurosurgery and Trauma Surgery to provide comprehensive care and reconstructive solutions to complex problems. She believes the best care begins with listening. Complex reconstructive surgeries have deep effects on every aspect of a patient's life. Her job is to restore both form and function to the highest possible degree.
Dr. Keys earned her M.D. at UC San Fransisco. She is pursuing a Masters in Surgical Education degree, and is deeply involved in the direct teaching and curriculum development for medical residents.
Dr. Keys spends her time away from the hospital enjoying time with her husband and two daughters. She has passions for cooking, cycling and reading.
