Joshua Jauregui, M.D., is a board certified physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW assistant professor of Emergency Medicine.
As an emergency physician, Dr. Jauegui is most excited about the opportunity to successfully help patients and their families through both acute illness and injury and the decompensation of chronic illness. He feels it is an honor to treat all people who come into our emergency department, indiscriminately, with respect and compassion.
Dr. Jauregui earned his M.D. from Loma Linda University. His clinical interests include medical education, ultrasound, airway management critical care, toxicology and global health. His research interests include pediatric dehydration, ultrasound, global health, faculty development and medical education.
When he is not in the emergency department or the classroom, Dr. Jaurgui enjoys cycling the open road, backpacking new terrain and reading novels. His wife and he have also recently fallen in love with sailing.
