Jennifer Ann Beckman, M.S.N., A.R.N.P., C.H.F.N., is a board-certified nurse practitioner in Cardiology at UW Medicine. She is also a UW teaching associate and an assistant professor at Marquette University, Milwaukee.
Beckman specializes in heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. She strives to create active partnerships with her patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Beckman completed her master of science in Nursing and family nurse practitioner training at Alverno College in Milwaukee. She is certified by the American Association of Heart Failure Nurses. Beckman co-chairs the UW Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner Council. She also serves on the UW Medical Center Nurse Executive Council and on the board of directors of the International Consortium of Circulatory Assistant Clinicians.??
Beckman’s clinical interests include advanced heart failure, mechanical circulatory support and cardiac transplantation. Her research interests include heart failure, quality of life and ventricular assist device outcome improvement.
In her spare time, Beckman enjoys exercise, cooking and traveling.
