About Jeffrey T. Schouten
Jeffrey Schouten, M.D., J.D., A.A.H.I.V.E., is a physician in the Anal Dysplasia Clinic at the Madison Clinic at Harborview. He is a staff scientist at the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center and director of the Office of HIV/AIDS Network Coordination (HANC) at the Hutch. He is also a UW associate professor of Surgery and Allergy & Infectious Diseases.
Dr. Schouten strives to create active partnerships with his patients to achieve the best possible outcomes.
Dr. Schouten earned his M.D. at the State University of New York at Brooklyn. As HANC Director he provides national and international leadership and strategic direction for all of the cross-network coordination activities that the HANC project encompasses. Dr. Schouten has been involved in HIV clinical research and HIV primary care for more than a decade. He also has a strong interest in HIV public policy.
