About Heather Durnay Rylander
Heather Rylander, PA-C, MCHS, MSc, is a board-certified physician assistant and a teaching associate with UW Urology, specializing in Urologic Oncology. She completed her B.S. in Biology from California State University, Sacramento. She then graduated from Lehigh University, earning an M.S. in Molecular Biology. She later completed medical training at the University of Washington MEDEX Northwest School of Family Medicine in Seattle. Heather believes in a team-based approach to patient care and strives to create a collaborative environment with her patients to achieve the best care plans. Heather's clinical interests include the treatment of prostate cancer, penile cancer, testicular cancer, bladder cancer, and kidney cancer. She has prior laboratory experience at UW Urology, specializing in male reproductive health.
