About Heather H. Cheng
Heather Cheng, M.D., Ph.D., is a board certified oncologist at Fred Hutchinson Cancer Center and a UW assistant professor of Oncology.
Dr. Cheng specializes in treating cancers of the prostate, bladder and testes. She considers it a privilege and important responsibility to work together with patients to design the best treatment plan for each individual. She strives to tailor treatments to each individual, to maximize chance of cure and prioritize quality of life. She strives to offer clinical trial options whenever possible because she believes that is how progress is made in cancer treatments. She enjoys the teamwork involved in supporting patients and their loved ones through treatment and survivorship.
Dr. Cheng earned her M.D. and Ph.D. from the UW in the Medical Scientist Training Program. She is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Medical Oncology.
Personal Interests
Dr. Cheng enjoys reading, arts and enjoying the spectacular Pacific Northwest with her family.
