Farid Moussavi-Harami, M.D., is a board certified physician at the Cardiology Clinic at Eastside Specialty Center and the Cardiology Clinic at Harborview and UW’s John and Cookie Laughlin Endowed Professor in Cardiology and a UW assistant professor of Cardiology and Medicine.

Dr. Moussavi-Harami’s patient care philosophy is to educate patients about their conditions and involve them in making informed choices.

Dr. Moussavi-Harami earned his M.D. at the University of Iowa. He is board certified in both Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Disease. His research interests include muscle mechanics, finding novel therapies for heart failure, cardiac remodeling, myocyte biology and mechanisms of cardiomyopathies.
