Erin Oehler, M.S., L.C.G.C., is a board certified genetic counselor and supervisor of Genetic Counseling at the Maternal and Infant Care Clinic at UW Medical Center.

Oehler provides genetic counseling for pregnant women and their families and those seeking advice prior to pregnancy. She has an active interest in teaching. She strives to get to know patients in their thoughts, beliefs and values. Ultimately her goal is to provide an environment of knowledge, reflection and empowerment that will enable patients to make choices that are the best fit for them.

Oehler received her medical education from the University of Minnesota. She is an active diplomat of the American Board of Genetic Counselors and a full member of the National Society of Genetic Counselors. Her clinical and research interests include prenatal screening and diagnosis, genetic conditions, teaching and clinical case reports.
