About Douglas Royce Thompson
Douglas Thompson, M.D., is a board certified anesthesiologist and Pediatric Anesthesiology fellowship director at Seattle Children’s Hospital and a UW assistant professor of Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine.
Dr. Thompson believes if you want to take the best care of an individual as possible, you must put yourself in his or her shoes.
Dr. Thompson earned his M.D. at UC San Diego. His clinical and research interests include pediatric congenital heart disease and improving patient care through the use of high-fidelity simulation systems.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Thompson enjoys dogs, camping, hiking and cooking.
