Dena Pruitt is a physician assistant practicing alongside the orthopedic surgeons in the Spine and Trauma Clinics at Harborview. She earned her Master's degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant studies at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C. Her interest in orthopedics began as an undergraduate as she earned her bachelor's degree in kinesiology and athletic training.
She believes patients get the best care from a team approach and through open communication. Surgery can be one of the most anxious times in a patient's life and her goal is to help patients understand what to expect before, during and after surgery.
Ms. Pruitt enjoys hiking with her husband and 2 dogs, reading nonfiction and visiting various wine regions.
