Dena Pruitt, MSHS, PA-C is a physician assistant practicing alongside the Orthopedic Surgeons in both the Spine and Trauma Clinics at Harborview. She earned her Master's degree in Health Sciences and Physician Assistant studies at The George Washington University in D.C. Her interest in orthopedics began as an undergraduate when she earned her bachelor's degree in Kinesiology and Athletic Training.

Dena believes patients get the best care from a team approach and through open communication. Surgery can be one of the most anxious times in a patient's life and her goal is to help patients understand what to expect before, during, and after surgery.
