About David S. Levitt
David Levitt, M.D., is a physician at Harborview and a UW instructor of General Internal Medicine.
In addition to general inpatient care, Dr. Levitt has an interest in addiction medicine and providing care for underserved populations. He feels the most rewarding part of his job is the opportunity to coordinate and plan with nurses, therapists, pharmacists and social workers to deliver the best possible care for patients at Harborview.
Dr. Levitt earned his M.D. from UC San Francisco. He has an interest in addiction medicine, especially as it relates to high utilizer populations, and medical education. He is certified to provide care in Spanish without an interpreter, and has completed training to qualify for a Suboxone prescription waiver.
Personal Interests
In his free time Dr. Levitt enjoys mountain biking, rock climbing, movies and traveling with family and friends
