About Connie L. Celum
Connie Celum, M.D., M.P.H., is a board certified physician at Madison Clinic at Harborview and a UW Professor of Allergy and Infectious Diseases and Global Health and adjunct professor of Epidemiology. She is the director of the International Clinical Research Center in UW Medicine’s department of Global Health.
Dr. Celum is an expert in the treatment and prevention of HIV and STDs. She enjoys working with patients representing diverse backgrounds.
Dr. Celum earned her M.D. at UC San Francisco and her M.P.H. at the UW. She is board certified in Internal Medicine and Infectious Diseases. She is a fellow in the Infectious Diseases Society of America and a member in the American College of Physicians, Washington State Medical Association, American Sexually Transmitted Disease Association, HIV Medicine Association and International AIDS Society. She conducts multicenter HIV prevention trials.

In her free time Dr. Celum enjoys travel, cooking, kayaking, bicycling and woodworking.
