Wonderful doctor and wonderful assistants too,

Dr Chung gave me the answers to questions I've been asking for two years that no one else had been able to answer.

Dr. Chung was friendly and answered questions directly. He did not include me in the decision making for my care. When I told him of an autoimmune condition in one eye, rather than gather details about it, he told me I was mistaken. He showed care about how hard it was not to be believed by doctors, which was weird because in that moment I didn't really get that I wasn't being believed. My husband was in the room and was similarly mystified by some of his comments. I got the idea that he had not carefully reviewed my records. Oddly, I would give him another chance because I liked him so much. I think if he actually reviewed my records, he might have some good advice. We share similar values of conservative treatment. The resident and the doctor we saw were excellent. They treated my sister with respect and included my mother and me in the conversation. My sister has a developmental disability and the doctors had a lot of patience and showed care in their treatment of her.

Dr. Chung was very easy to talk with. His assessment of my condition and he alternatives that he laid out were very practical and took into account my broader health issues.
