Dr Chen is very good at listening and providing a solution. He takes good care of his patients.

Although the wait time was a bit long, all of the staff treated us very nicely. Everything was explained well and my questions answered so that I understood.

I felt confident that my care and concerns were being addressed.

I've been a patient of the eye clinic since 2013 and have seen several providers over the years. I really like Dr. Chen. He's really great. Sadly, the clinic is more often than not so busy that it takes hours, literally, for my appointments. This time I was scheduled for a visual field test and to see Dr. Chen. My appt was at 3:00 and I didn't get out of there until 5:30. Dr. Chen and I were the last ones there. It's not his fault but that is way too long to be there for a visual field and an office visit. The staff is always super nice and friendly -- they found my lost earrings! -- but it just takes too long. I would say I have had two appointments in all those years where I got out in less than an hour and a half. Dr. Chen's great, though.

The eye care (and in general the medical care) is the very highest quality. In particular, for my eyes, they are monitoring all measurable potential problems, and then suggest well reasoned alternatives for care. The best anywhere in my experience, and I have lived in many places in the US with good, but not as good as UW Medicine, care.

Dr Andrew Chen listened to me. Explained options and left the option to make a decision for a procedure or glasses to a later date if I changed my mind.

I am always dazzled by Dr. Andrew Chen and his staff. Dr. Chen is a preeminent specialist in glaucoma, in particular. Although it is stressful going through all the necessary tests, his staff keeps me calm, particularly as they are so well-organized and kind. I know that at the end of the screenings, Dr. Chen will evaluate the test results, tell me his recommendations in layman's language, and leave me knowing that I have had the best diagnosis and care.
