About Uyanga Batnyam

Dr. Uyanga Batnyam is originally from Mongolia and completed her medical training in the US, including internal medicine training at UCF College of Medicine, a cardiovascular disease fellowship at Einstein Medical Center/Jefferson Health, and a clinical cardiac electrophysiology fellowship at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. Dr. Batnyam is an Assistant Professor of Medicine at the University of Washington.

Her primary research focuses on improving ventricular arrhythmia ablation success and enhancing the quality of life for patients with cardiac arrhythmias. Dr.Batnyam’s clinical practice includes many complex cardiac arrhythmia procedures. Some of the procedures she performs include pacemaker and defibrillator implantation (cardiac resynchronization therapy, leadless pacemaker implantation, and subcutaneous defibrillator implantation), complex atrial arrhythmia ablation, left atrial appendage occlusion device implantation, and complex ventricular arrhythmia ablation. Dr. Batnyam believes in a team approach to patient care and providing the most current information so patients can make informed decisions, especially about managing heart rhythm conditions.

Personal Interests

Dr. Batnyam recently relocated from Boston to Seattle. In her free time, she enjoys spending quality moments with her husband and daughter, engaging in outdoor activities in the scenic Pacific Northwest.
