Natalia Murinova, M.D., M.H.A., is director of the UW Medicine Headache Center, Seattle. Dr. Murinova is an expert in treating patients who have migraines, cluster headaches and chronic headaches. She has been listed in "The Best Doctors in Seattle.”
Dr. Murinova earned her M.D. from the University of Comenius, Czechoslovakia (now Slovakia). She completed her training in internal medicine at Henry Ford Hospital, Detroit, Michigan, and her residency in neurology and fellowship in headache medicine at University of Washington, Seattle. She also earned a master’s degree in health administration at UW. She is board-certified in neurology and headache medicine.
Dr. Murinova’s clinical research interests include headache treatment, headache prevention, complementary medicine and patient self-management. Her research interests include new headache treatments, treatment outcomes and information technology in headache medicine.
Dr. Murinova is a UW clinical assistant professor of neurology.
Dr. Murinova enjoys outdoor sports, yoga, gardening, volunteering in her community, art, opera, classical music and spending time with family and friends.
