Carlos N. Caso, PA-C, is a certified physician assistant who practices orthopedics, evaluating and treating shoulder and elbow conditions, with the shoulder and elbow team at the UW Medical Center-Roosevelt and the Eastside Specialty Center. He also has a subspecialty in sports medicine practice, including arthroscopy.
Caso has been in orthopedic medicine since 2002 and is a graduate of MEDEX Northwest, the Physician Assistant Program at the UW School of Medicine. He treats patients who need joint restoration procedures, such as shoulder joint replacement arthroplasty, and shoulder arthroscopic procedure, from rotator cuff repairs to labral injuries.
He believes the cornerstone to successful orthopedic practice is getting to know patients by speaking with them, establishing a rapport and performing a good hands-on physical exam. The patient appreciates the personal attention, which helps build confidence in the care team and its approach.
Caso enjoys spending time with his wife and kids, reading history, climbing and doing old school calisthenics.
