Pontus B. Oberg, D.O., is board-certified in physical medicine and rehabilitation by the American Board of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.
Dr. Oberg earned his osteopathic medical degree from Des Moines University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Iowa, where he also completed an undergraduate fellowship in osteopathic manual medicine. After medical school, he completed a traditional rotating internship at Downey Regional Medical Center in California and residency training in physical medicine and rehabilitation at University of Utah in Salt Lake City.
His clinical interests include fluoroscopically-guided procedures, musculoskeletal ultrasound, regenerative medicine, osteopathic manual medicine and electrodiagnostic studies.
He is a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and the American Osteopathic Association.
Dr. Oberg uses a whole person comprehensive approach in managing musculoskeletal conditions. This may include electro diagnostic studies, interventional procedures and osteopathic manual medicine, when appropriate.
Dr. Oberg enjoys exercising for his health and well-being, art and home projects, cooking, traveling and spending time with his family.
