About Maria Vasilyadis
Maria Vasilyadis, M.D., is a physician in the Emergency Department at Harborview Medical Center and a UW instructor of Emergency Medicine.
Dr. Vasilyadis believes that as an emergency medicine physician her mission is to help patients through an often jarring and difficult process. Her passion is to help people when they need a physician the most and reach out to a multitude of patients by touching upon many socioeconomic stratas.
Dr. Vasilyadis earned her M.D. at SUNY Upstate Medical University. Her clinical and research interests include public health, medical journalism, quality assurance and opiate prescribing habits and trends in abuse.

In her free time Dr. Vasilyadis enjoys travel, languages and medical journalism.
