What is Apple Health Expansion?

This is a program to help with healthcare expenses for adults who do not have insurance and do not meet immigration requirements for other Apple Health programs. Apple Health Expansion coverage is free; there are no out-of-pocket costs or copays. This insurance will cover, with some limitations, primary care, emergency visits, maternity services, pediatric care, dental services, vision care, prescription medications and more.

Which Apple Health Expansion plans include UW Medicine in-network?

UW Medicine is in network with these plans, with some exceptions. Ask the managed care program about your coverage for services through UW Medicine.

    • Harborview, UW Medical Center, and UW Physicians: authorized specialty care only, except primary care covered at Lopez Island clinic
