Schedule a New Appointment
You can schedule a new appointment two ways.
Understanding Types of Appointments
Wellness Visit
A yearly visit in person for adults to help you stay healthy and prevent problems. The appointment lasts about 40 to 60 minutes to talk about everything you need.
Office Visit
In-person visit with a provider you’ve seen before to talk about a new or on-going health issue. Visit lasts about 20 to 30 minutes.
Pregnancy Follow-up
Choose for prenatal care during your pregnancy after your 1st appointment. Appts are about 20 to 30 minutes.
Well-Child Visit
An in-person visit with a check-up to see how a child is growing and developing. The appointment lasts about 40 to 60 minutes to go over everything.
On-Demand Visit
Get in line for a video visit to see an available UW Medicine primary care provider as soon as possible.
E-Visit
An E-Visit lets you get help for certain problems without having to make an appointment. You tell us your symptoms, and a doctor or nurse will send you a care plan or advice.
Telehealth Visit
A video visit with a provider you’ve seen before to talk about a new or on-going health issue. Visit lasts about 20 to 30 minutes.
All Options
Make an appointment online to start care with a new primary care doctor or with Women’s Health. First visits with a new provider last about 40 to 60 minutes.
